What an absolutely beautiful day in Palatine on Sunday at our Potluck Lunch and Worship! A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers from the Village Church of Barrington who hosted an amazing lunch, and to everyone else God brought in to make the day perfect! God has always provided for 22 years and once again, there was an overflowing delicious feast as well as so much love as we gathered together as a family. And I know that love is from God bringing people who might be strangers and leave as friends.

One of the most painful losses that someone walking through homelessness experiences is loneliness and isolation often because of loss of family and friends for whatever reason. God has not just provided a feast of overflowing food and clothing and volunteers every time we gather, but it could only be God who brings people together as loving friendships are formed while sitting having conversation and lunch together...and we become a family!
